Finished work with the restoration of the Odessa church - the lutheran Church of St. Paul. Restoration of cultural monument and architecture lasted for almost five years. Together, Germany and Ukrainian sides renewed church again pleased glances of passers and hearts of believers. According to Klaus-Jürgen Repke, a senior church adviser, retired, this project was the largest of all such restoration work, the project budget amounted to EUR 7 million.

The appearance of the building meets all the canons of the Lutheran Church. The walls are erected from purified limestone, covered with a special solution to help retain the natural color of building material even under prolonged exposure of the sun and rain.
